Locally Grown Field Hedging and Canopy Trees

We plant, grow and harvest hedging conifers, laurel and large caliper deciduous trees from our field in Dove Creek. Weather and soil conditions are typically ideal for digging in April and September.

Deciduous and Deciduous Ornamental Trees

Often planted as a focal point or for wildlife habitat and many landscapes feature a collection of different species. They are typically smaller in stature and less often used as street or shade trees.

Deciduous Shrubs

Deciduous shrubs serve many purposes. They add colour, texture and wildlife habitat. They can be used as specimens, hedging, creating privacy seasonal privacy screen or windbreaks.


Broadleaf Evergreens

These shrubs play an important role in providing structure and visual interest throughout the year. Their year-round foliage offers a diverse range of texture, shape and colour which contribute to the overall landscape plan.


Vines, Climbers and Ground Covers

Rose, Honeysuckle, Clematis, Wisteria, Jasmine, Hops, Hydrangea. 

Edibles

Grow your own food.   Be creative – it’s okay to mix your edibles with your ornamentals, Anything goes. It is now common practice to incorporate edibles in with your ornamental garden.  There are no rules.  Consider a food forest!


Perennials and Grasses

These are plants that die back each season, only to grow bigger or spread as the years go by.  For this reason, we also include Hosta and ferns in this category.  

Conifers

Think of conifers as your foundation plants.  Most conifers are evergreen and may serve double purpose as a specimen or screening from noise or a neighbours view.


Hedging

Most often used for privacy, boundary delineation, noise barrier or foundation planting. They provide a consistent backdrop to your beds and borders.
